I'm older, only 5'3" but my house is only one story, so this extends far enough to scoop along the gutters and then remove the scooper thing at the end and try to run water down the downspouts to make sure they're clear, too. Walmart wanted a review w/in 48 hours, so I haven't had time yet to test how effective it is, but I did test the reach. I searched and considered several others, and this was the best design, best reach, plus I trust (most) Orbit tools from years of experience as a gardener.

I can no longer afford to pay the service I used for years to do that. They've gone from $100 for the 15-20 minutes that took their worker, on the roof, to $165, so I'll have to try clearing the gutters myself in prep for our annual fall windstorm that fills the gutters and downspouts with pine needles.

$30 tool to use from the ground beats paying $165

It worked like it was advertised. No problems.

I am so glad I ordered the Orbit Telescoping Cleaning Wand!  I am older petite woman.  I did not have to get out the tall, heavy, dangerous ladder this time.  The Orbit Wand was so easy to use. I could turn the water on or off on the bottom of the wand as I used it. I found out if you slant the wand instead of standing directly under it you won't get very wet. I did wear a wide bim hat, which helped keep the water off my face. 
I was impressed with the amount of dead decomposed leaves that came out of through the drain as I washed it.  
I used it on a mobile home drain gutter.  It wasn't too heavy which was nice since I'm older now. 
It rain 2 inches the next day after I cleaned the drain gutters. I did not see any spill over the sides. The water went easily down each drain gutter.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to get out and climb a tall ladder. I felt much safer using the Orbit Telescoping Cleaning Wand instead of the ladder.
